JobHelp Store (JHS)
The JobHelp Store a federally funded training program targeting Asian and Pacific Island Immigrants. Classroom training, work experience, on-the-job training, acculturation, job search activities and basic skills training are just a few of the components of the program.
The target group are those who are non-citizens, Asian and Pacific Island Immigrants, have been in the United States for 5 years or less, are unemployed or underemployed, and lacking skills. This group must be eligible to work in the United States (alien registration), and are ready for training (adequate English skills to understand instruction).

For example they are sent to classes that can teach them more english, computer skills etc. Also can participate in the Work Experience program setting up with employment with a non-profit company. The immigrant gets a lot out of this program that will provide them with experience and new tools to be successful finding employment.
