Our employer services program has been developed to respond to the needs of business and we at the Kaneohe Office are striving to establish strong partnerships and collaboration with the employer community. The Kaneohe Office offers a variety of services at no cost to new and existing businesses which include but are not limited to:

• Job orders are shared statewide by local offices. Employers also have the option to list job orders on the Internet as part of the U.S. Department of Labor America=s Job Bank. Selective recruitment and pre-screened candidate referral

• Workforce Development Specialists screen job orders for qualified applicants
• Applicants view descriptions of job openings and are referred only if they qualify

Reduced employer hiring and training costs

• Government subsidized training is available to employers (to access information on each program, click on Employment Training Fund (ETF), Job Help Store, and/or Veterans Program).
• Employers may benefit from tax savings by hiring eligible workers (click here for Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)
• On-The-Job training wage reimbursement is available through the Job Help Store and Veterans programs.
• Free job postings reduce advertising costs
• Pre-screening saves employers time and identifies the best qualified
