Importance of Job Training
You may be asking yourself, "Why should I go back for more training?" Whether you're new in the industry or have had twenty years of experience, obtaining further education or training skills is a great way to enhance your career in the tourism industry!Here are some ways in which tourism education and training can help you improve your career:
- Help you find a job
Through obtaining education or training for the tourism industry, you will find that employers will be more willing to hire you because you have the necessary skills to become effective members of their staff. If you're just started to explore the possibility of joining the tourism industry, taking a training course or pursuing a degree in the travel and hospitality industry will open doors to new career opportunities! - Get a promotion
There are many ways you can achieve success in the tourism industry. Receiving additional education and training specific to the tourism industry is one way to help you obtain that much deserved promotion. - Increase salary
With greater experience and further training, not only do you position yourself to get a promotion but also receive a raise in your salary. Employers place great emphasis on employees that have all of the necessary skill sets for their job and are willing to pay for it. - Career change

Two-Year Associate's Degree
