Advanced Solar Photovoltaic Training

@ Leeward Community College Office of Continuing Education and Workforce Development

Description

This course will cover PV system installations and is targeted to candidates working in the industry (e.g., contractor, foreperson, supervisor, journeyworker, installers or licensed electrician). This course is intended to provide participants with the 40 hours of PV Installer training required to sit for the NABCEP PV installer certification exam.  Note: You must have completed a NABCEP PV Entry Level course and have access to a current NEC code book to enter this course.  Achieving a NABCEP certification gives installers a set of national standards by which they can distinguish themselves from their competition.  It is not intended to prevent qualified individuals from installing PV systems nor to replace state licensure requirements.
