Program Name: CompTIA Security+
This course will prepare students to pass the current CompTIA Security+ certification exam. After taking this course, students will understand the field of network security and how it relates to other areas of information technology. This course also provides the broad-based knowledge necessary to prepare for further study in specialized security fields, or it can serve as a capstone course that gives a general introduction to the field.
Evening - 4 weeks (Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.).
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a course completion certificate.
They will then be scheduled for a certification exam. A score of 764 or better will qualify the student to become CompTIA Security+ certified.
Total training hours: 90 hours evening course.
Course, books, handouts, registration fee and 1 testing voucher.
Minimum of 9th grade reading comprehension and basic math skills.
Students should be able to devote a minimum of 2 hours a day to prepare for class.
