The Cosmetology curriculum provides the highest degree of skills training and theoretical knowledge to enable the student to enter careers in hair and beauty. This knowledge and ability is achieved first through lecture and demonstration followed by actual work in a salon atmosphere. It is designed to prepare the student for the Hawai'i State Board of Cosmetology examination to become a licensed cosmetologist in Hawai'i. Students can also earn a specific Certificate of Completion (CC) in Esthetics.
