This course helps students to define themselves as top professionals in a variety of settings. It provides an in-depth look at office protocol; professional appearance; developing relationships with superiors, staff and co-workers; how to handle personal issues in the workplace; internet, phone and email etiquette; meeting protocol; and ethics and business function topics such as attire dining and traveling. At the end of the course students will be able to: Present themselves in a confident and professional manner Make effective introductions including shaking hands and using business cards effectively Write more professional communications Conduct themselves as a top professional when running or attending meetings Utilize the basics of email, phone and internet etiquette Effectively manage conflict and personal issues in the workplace
