Electrical Theory and Electrical System for Hybrid/EV: Module 2

@ Honolulu Community College

Description

As we find ways to be more energy efficient and save on fuel costs, we are seeing Hybrid and Electric Vehicles all over our islands. Whether
you're an automotive technician wanting to update your skills, or you're an owner of a Hybrid or Electric Car, this may be the program for you. There is no other facility on Oahu that provides this kind of training outside of an automobile dealership. Electricity is an energy source that powers our everyday lives. It's fascinating and dangerous at the same time. This is why it's so important to know what it is and how to work with it safely. In this course you will learn to safely work with this energy source and learn how it powers Hybrid and Electric Vehicle. This is the second course that is required for you to complete before moving on to other modules in this program. Topics include basic electrical theory, wiring diagram and schematic use, Digital Voltage Ohm Meter (DVOM), oscilloscope methods, and electrical system diagnosis.
